During the lovely hot summer we decided to have a sea-side theme in our Paddington’s Room. During this time we talked about our favourite things with regard to the sea-side like ice-cream, building sandcastles and paddling in the sea. The children painted pictures, played in the sand and splashed in the water tray.
We also held a Graduation party for our Big Bears who left to go to school. The children that left made mortar boards for the day and received special certificates and party bags. There was fun and games for all and party food was provided.
Our Pandas had fun looking at Recycling. After a week of collecting a variety of recycling goods such as boxes, bottles and containers we let the children use glue and sellotape to make their models. Once they were done the children got messy and decorated their models.
