The summer nursery sports day again was a huge success. All of the children took part or cheered the other children on. Big Bears made banners and flags to wave, they even learnt a rhyme to sing! Lots of parents came to watch the children and some of them even took part in some of the races! The races were followed by ice lollies and a party tea before all the children received their certificates for taking part.
Our Big Bears celebrated Graduation Day for all the children going to school. All of the parents came along to watch their child receive a certificate from Tracy, the Nursery Manager. The children wore party clothes and their own mortar board hats that they had made. The children all clapped and cheered as they watched their friends walk up to the front of the audience before they turned and posed for their photos!
After the ceremony we celebrated with party games and a special tea. Fran, our chef made a huge cake that looked like a giant pencil!
