The foundation of great childcare is getting the basics right.
Our nurseries are expertly designed, thoughtfully equipped and registered with Ofsted.
They’re also run by qualified carers – whose training we invest heavily in.

A warm welcome
From the moment they step into our nursery, your child will be cherished and cared for.
On their first day you’ll meet a nominated ‘Key Person’ who will be responsible for helping them settle in.
Soon enough – and usually within a few minutes – they’ll be up and running and part of the nursery.

Care that’s specific to every child
Your child will be offered exciting activities that suit their development needs and interests.
We support every child by working within the four themes of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
To make sure each child makes the most of their time with Buffer Bear, we record their progress and review it regularly.

An inclusive atmosphere
Our nurseries are open to all children, regardless of their gender, religion, race, nationality, ethnicity and additional needs.
Each of our employees is trained to respect and celebrate diversity, and we reflect this in our planning and play equipment.
Every nursery also benefits from a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator.

A safe and secure environment
Buffer Bear is welcoming and comfortable, but also safe and secure.
Our buildings are clean, hygienic and well maintained.
We also carry out stringent reference checks on everyone we employ, and have safeguarding child protection policies to cover every eventuality – from collecting your child, to having contractors on site.

At Buffer Bear, we believe that the contributions of parents and carers help ensure that we meet every child’s development needs.
We encourage you to take part in our committees, social events, and reviews of your child’s progress.
