Latest news from Buffer Bear Dewsbury

At Buffer Bear Dewsbury our fun filled nursery gives children the chance to flourish and enjoy their early years while learning new skills.

We have all our wonderful creations of art work displayed all over our walls giving all our children the pride and encouragement to show their creativity. You will often hear music playing and children singing during the day.

Our cook provides all children with healthy, nutritious well balanced meals and snacks. Meal times are happy occasions and we encourage good table manners and conversation, part of our weekly activities are baking and making our own snacks.

Baby Room –This month in Baby Bears we have been carrying out lots of new music activities such as using a range of multicultural instruments, and singing new nursery rhymes. We have also been using real foods in the home corner; we plan to continue some of these in the month ahead. Well done to the babies who are attempting to stand up by themselves.

Koala Room – This month we have concentrated on small group time where children have enjoyed singing and dancing. We have also enjoyed expanding our exploration area and spending time in the sensory garden. We will be designing our own t-shirts with fabric crayons.

Pandas – This month Panda Room have been exploring the I.C.T equipment we have enjoyed taking photos of each other, we have then displayed the photos on the digital photo frame in the entrance. We have been changing our display boards so the children have all been busy creating different pictures using all kinds of resources & materials. Over the next few weeks we are concentrating on small group time so the key workers can spend more time with their key children
